Best Omakase & Sushi in Midtown East, NYC

875 3rd Avenue, Lower Level — In the Heart of Midtown East

If you live or work in Midtown East and you're serious about sushi, Atto Sushi is your neighborhood restaurant. We're located at 875 3rd Avenue, Lower Level — right between 52nd and 53rd Streets, in one of Midtown East's most prominent office towers. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch at the counter or settling in for a full omakase dinner, we're a short walk from virtually anywhere in the neighborhood.

Midtown East's Only Dry-Aged Omakase

Midtown East has no shortage of sushi options, but Atto stands apart through a technique most New York restaurants haven't adopted: dry-aging fish. Every piece of fish at Atto is dry-aged in-house under carefully controlled temperature and humidity, a process that concentrates flavor and transforms texture in ways that fresh-only fish simply cannot achieve. It's the same philosophy applied to great steak — and it changes everything about the eating experience.

Our fish arrives multiple times per week from Japan, sourced through the same networks that supply Tokyo's finest Edomae sushiya. Bluefin tuna from Aomori, golden-eye snapper from Nagasaki, sea urchin from Hokkaido — these aren't substitutes for Japanese-quality fish, they are Japanese-quality fish. From there, our chef dry-ages each variety to its ideal window before serving.

What to Expect at Atto

Lunch in Midtown East

Atto is open for lunch Monday through Friday, 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. If you have a meeting at one of the nearby office buildings — Citigroup Center, 875 3rd Ave itself, or anywhere along 3rd Avenue — Atto makes the kind of working lunch that leaves a real impression. Our lunch specials start at $30 for 5 nigiri and $50 for 8 nigiri, both chef-selected and seasonally driven. For a more complete experience, our Lunch Omakase offers 8 courses for $85.

Dinner Omakase

Dinner service runs Monday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The Dinner Omakase is 12 courses at $115 per person — a progression that moves through house-made tofu, seasonal small plates, and then the full arc of nigiri, each piece presented one at a time. There's nothing rushed about it. See our full menu for details.
